1. Information We Collect

Account Information: Name, email address, phone number (optional), and profile photo (optional) when you create an account.

Financial Data: Transactions, account balances, budgets, bills, goals, debts, and categories that you manually enter or import into the App.

Usage Data: AI feature usage counts (for rate limiting), support tickets, and app preferences.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide and maintain the App; (b) process your financial data for budgeting, tracking, and insights; (c) power AI features including transaction categorization, financial health scoring, and the conversational assistant; (d) send you support-related emails; (e) improve the App's functionality.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS) with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled on all tables. This means only you can access your own data. All connections use HTTPS encryption. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

4. AI Data Processing

When you use AI features, relevant financial data (transaction amounts, categories, merchant names) is sent to OpenAI's API for processing. This data is used solely to generate responses and is not stored by OpenAI for training purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Supabase — Database, authentication, and file storage
  • OpenAI — AI-powered features
  • Resend — Transactional emails
  • Vercel — App hosting
  • Open Exchange Rates API — Currency conversion

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or financial data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with the third-party services listed above as required to provide the App's functionality.

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you request account deletion, all data is permanently removed after a 72-hour grace period. AI usage logs are automatically cleaned up after 30 days.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to: (a) access all your data through the App; (b) export your data as CSV at any time; (c) correct your personal information in Settings; (d) delete your account and all associated data; (e) contact us with any privacy concerns.

9. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage for: authentication tokens, theme preference, payment method configuration, and AI usage tracking. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
